«In my creativity I try to refuse the terrible reality of today and while using formal decisions I’m trying to objectify peace and rest in my artwork».

And in fact, it is really so, the state of the meditative rest, balance and harmony are felt in the artwork of Rovshan Hajizade, the young and talented sculptor.
The basic material Hajizade uses in his artwork is bronze, which with identical ease can be transferred into a rough surface as well as to be polished up to a mirror state. This, perfectly able to toning, material helps to reveal the sculptor’s idea in a full range. The spectrum of subjects and plots in the artwork of Hajizade is rather wide.
The shrouding, roundish, soft and full of energy forms create surprising psychological communication between the author and the spectator to whom the artwork is applied to.  It seems that the inner life of each of his work does not remain silent, it revives and tells us its own story, but only with one condition – one should thoroughly and attentively look at each of them.
Then we also have the widely opened embraces, the thin, ringing strings, the static, archaically-symbolical images or the abstract forms of a chaotic dream, which create the impression that Hajizade reaches expressiveness and harmonious completeness in each of his artwork separately by various plastic means. Figure statement, transfer of its movement, a pose and gesture, the light-to-dark modeling, which strengthens the prominence of the form, the selection of proportions specifically in each case and making the character of a silhouette - are the main expressive means the sculptor uses in realization of his ideas.
